Biography

Destini Martinez has became a key playmaker for the Buffs after tranferring from Columbia State Community College and enters her senior season in 2026. The Columbia, Tenn., native was directly involved in seven of Milligan's goals in 2025.

2025: Martinez scored three goals with four assists for 10 points across 19 matches. She scored off a Natalie Roper assist in the 6-1 win over Bryan on Sept. 17, added another goal in the 4-0 win over Brenau on Oct. 4, and scored a third time in the 3-3 draw at Georgia Gwinnett on Oct. 25. On the other end, she assisted Bianca Vacirca's goal in the 8-2 win over Spartanburg Methodist on Sept. 6, and set up both Kelsey Miller and Lauren Hawkley for goals in the 9-0 win over Bluefield on Sept. 24. In conference play she posted two goals and four assists for eight points. Martinez was named to the 2025 Academic All-AAC Team.
