Biography

Halle Steele returns for her junior campaign in 2026, after leading the Buffs in goals scored in 2025. Steele came to Milligan as a true frehshman and blossomed into a dynamic scoring threat during her sophomore season. 

2025: Steele led the team with nine goals and 19 points across 16 matches (14 starts). She opened her account off an Emily Robinson assist in the season-opening 2-0 win at WVU Tech on Aug. 22, scored twice in the 2-2 draw at Reinhardt on Sept. 13, and added goals in the 6-1 win over Bryan on Sept. 17, the 9-0 win over Bluefield on Sept. 24 (off a McKenna Rook assist) and twice more in the 4-0 win over Brenau on Oct. 4. In conference play she posted seven goals and 15 points across 10 starts. Steele earned Second Team All-AAC honors, was named to the Academic All-AAC Team, and was selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team with a 3.87 GPA as a Nursing major.

2024: Steele scored three goals with an assist as a true freshman forward in 18 games and starts.
