Montiel joins the Milligan backline from Orange, Calif., where she competed at Mater Dei High School under head coach Matthew West. She graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Monarch and will pursue a degree in Sports Management at Milligan. She is the daughter of Juan and Marlene Montiel and has two siblings, Isabella and Carlos, with her sister having competed collegiately in swimming.
