Milligan College, Tenn. (Oct. 15, 2009) --- The Milligan College volleyball team  won their third straight AAC contest with Thursday's win over Bluefield College  (Va.). The Lady Buffs knocked off the Lady Rams 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-22).    
Senior 
Meredith Lynch (Lexington, Ky.) and  junior
 Erin Biddle (Newport, Tenn.) led the squad in assists  with
 18 and 16, respectively, as starting setter  
Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, Va.) was out with an illness. Lynch  also pitched in 16 digs and eight kills in her double-double performance. Libero  
Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.) led the Lady Buffs  defensively with 22 digs, while junior 
Emilee Hale (Morristown, Tenn.)  played tough in the middle with three solo blocks and two block  assists.    
“I'm pleased we finished the week 3-0,” commented Head Coach  
Doneva Bays. “It is nice to see everyone pull together and play  hard, especially with us battling sickness and injury.”  
The Lady Buffs  advance to 13-11 on the season and 7-3 in the league, while the Lady Rams fall  to 5-17 overall and 4-6 in the AAC.   
The Lady Buffs travel to UVA-Wise  (Va.) on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m., for their next AAC contest.   ÂÂ
