Greenville, S.C. (Oct. 29, 2009) --- The Milligan College volleyball team fell in a non-conference matchup on the road Thursday night to the Lady Crusaders of North Greenville 3-0 (13-25, 21-25, and 15-25).

Freshman Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, Va.) led the team with 21 assist along with five digs on the night. Sophomore libero Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.) led the team defensively with 14 digs in the effort.

“We came out flat and inconsistent,” commented Head Coach Doneva Bays. “Hopefully with senior day on Saturday and a non-conference matchup, we can regain our focus as we wrap up the AAC regular season.”

The Lady Buffs host NCAA Division II Mars Hill on Saturday, Oct. 31, in Steve Lacy Fieldhouse for a 2 p.m. start time.
