Mars Hill, N.C. (Nov. 16, 2009) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team fell to NCAA Division II Mars Hill College Monday night in non-conference action 88-74 on the road.

On a 13-for-17 shooting night from the floor, newcomer Cordero Seymour (Inagua, Bahamas) led the Buffs with a career high 35 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and a block. Former Indian Justin Sylvester (Kingsport, Tenn.) was next in line with 14 points.

The Buffs fall to 0-4 on the year with the loss, while Mars Hill won their season opener.

Milligan returns to Steve Lacy Fieldhouse for their home opener and first AAC contest of the year against Montreat (N.C.) College Wednesday, Nov. 18. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
