Milligan falls to UVA-Wise

Wise, Va. (Nov. 21, 2009) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team fell to the Cavs of UVA-Wise Saturday on the road by a final score of 69-77.

On a 6-of-8 shooting night from the floor, junior Marshall Hardy (Kingsport, Tenn.) led the Buffs with 14 points, seven rebounds, and one assist. Newcomer Cordero Seymour (Inagua, Bahamas) was next in line with 13 points, nine rebounds and one assists.

The Buffs fall to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play with the loss, while UVA-Wise is now 3-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

Milligan returns to Steve Lacy Fieldhouse for a rematch against NCAA Mars Hill. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
