Winston-Salem, N.C. (Nov. 30, 2009) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team fell on the road to Winston-Salem State University Monday night in non-conference play, 89-59. 

The Buffs jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, but could not keep pace with the Rams 3-point attack. Milligan shot 21% (4-of-21) from behind the 3-point line, while Winston Salem-State shot 48% (12-of-25).

Offensively, the Buffs were led by freshman Cordero Seymour (Inagua, Bahamas) who had a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Freshman Justin Sylvester (Kingsport, Tenn.) added 12 points for the visiting Buffs.

Milligan returns to Steve Lacey Fieldhouse on Wednesday, Dec. 2, when they host AAC foe Union (Ky.) College. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
