Rome, Ga. (Nov 6, 2009) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team lost their season opener Friday night against Shorter College (Ga.) by a final of 83-76.  

Offensively, the Buffs were sparked by former Indian Justin Sylvester (Kingsport, Tenn.) who pitched in 18 points and four assists in the contest. Junior Cordero Seymour (Inagua, Bahamas) followed closely with 17 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Senior Kyle Donahue (Greeneville, Tenn.) rounded out the Buffs' double-digit scorers with 11 points.  

The Buffs face off against Concordia-Selma (Ala.) Saturday afternoon on the final day of the Shorter Classic at 2 p.m.
