With the win, Milligan improves to 20-8 overall and 9-2 in the AAC. It is the first 20 win season for the Lady Buffs since 2002.
“I'm happy to win our Dig for a Cure even since it is such an honor to host one,” Head Coach
Doneva Bays said. “With one of our middle hitters out, we had to rearrange the lineup. I thought Kylie played great, and it also gave us an opportunity to see other players on the court. I am also really excited for us to reach the 20 win mark.”
The Lady Buffs return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 26, when they welcome AAC leader Montreat College into Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
