Waleska, Ga. (October 29, 2010) --- The Milligan College volleyball team defeated AAC foe Reinhardt University in straight sets on Friday night in Waleska, Ga., to complete the season sweep of the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Buffs took the first set 25-21, and then narrowly took the second set by a score of 25-23. Milligan secured the victory with a 25-22 third set victory.

Bianca Burnett (Cookeville, TN) recorded 14 kills on the night, while Emilee Hale (Morristown, TN) and Kendra Fiddler (Colorado Springs, CO) had eight and six kills, respectively. Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, VA) had 34 assists. AAC Libero of the Week Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, TN) had 12 digs, while Erin Biddle (Newport, TN) added 10 digs for the Lady Buffs.

With the win, Milligan improves to 21-10 overall and 10-3 in AAC action.

The Lady Buffs will hit the court tomorrow at 1 p.m., in Dayton, Tenn., as they take on Bryan College in an important AAC matchup.
