Milligan College, Tenn. (Nov. 4, 2010) --- The Milligan College volleyball team celebrated senior night in style on Thursday night as they knocked off North Greenville University 3-1 in nonconference action inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.
After falling 26-24 in the first set, the Lady Buffs bounced back to take the second set by a score of 25-22. Milligan took control of the match in the third set as they raced out to an early lead and took the 25-13 set victory. In the decisive fourth set, Milligan held on against a late Lady Crusader charge to secure the match with a 25-19 set victory.
Sophomore 
Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, Va.) had 41 assists and eight digs. Senior 
Ashley Agin (Atlanta, Ga.) led the Lady Buffs with 16 digs, while 
Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.) had 12 digs. 
Kendra Fiddler (Colorado Springs, Colo.) added 11 digs, and seniors 
Bianca Burnett (Cookeville, Tenn.) and 
Erin Biddle (Newport, Tenn.) had 10 digs apiece. Burnett and Fiddler had 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Senior 
Emilee Hale (Morristown, Tenn.) added eight kills.
With the win, Milligan improves to 23-12 overall and remains at 10-3 in the AAC.
“I'm really excited to come out and win for our four seniors,” Head Coach 
Doneva Bays said. “I thought all four really stepped up big for us tonight to help us get the win.”
The Lady Buffs will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 6, when they travel to Mars Hill College for a nonconference game. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
