Milligan College, Tenn. (May 10, 2010) --- The Milligan College baseball program announced that Taylor Valentine of Mason, Ohio, has signed with the Buffaloes for the 2010-11 season. Head Coach Nathan Meade made the announcement.

The 5-foot-9 Valentine plays short stop and pitcher and is a three year varsity letterman in addition to being a team captain. He was selected to the National Under Armour Team and played in the Champions Elite Fall League at the recommendation of his high school coach.

“We are very excited to have Taylor in our program,” said Meade. “He is a good fit for us both academically and athletically. I'm excited about the work ethic and mentality he brings to our program.”

In addition to being an outstanding athlete, Valentine boasts a 3.2 GPA and received the Rotary Club Leadership award and Shining Star Humanitarian Award.

Taylor is the son of Bob and Joyce Valentine.
