Greeneville, Tenn. (Sept. 10, 2010) --- The Milligan College Lady Buffs traveled to nonconference foe Tusculum College and came up short as they fell 7-1 to the Lady Pioneers on Friday night.

Scoring the Lady Buffs lone goal was Erin Brewer (Brownsburg, Ind.) in the 87th minute. The Lady Pioneers got two goals apiece from Michelle Meade and Courtney Turner to pace them to an offensive explosion in the second half where they scored six goals.

Defensively, Heather Crumplen (Courtice, Ontario) got the start as the goal keeper and recorded 13 saves.

With the loss, Milligan fell to 1-2-1 on the year.

The Lady Buffs return to action when they open AAC play when they square off against Bluefield College at Anglin Field on Wednesday, Sept. 15. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
