Milligan College, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2011) --- The Milligan College volleyball team opened the month of October up with a 3-0 win over Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday morning inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.
  The Buffaloes came out of the gate strong as they quickly ran to a double-digit lead and took the first set by a score of 25-10. Milligan continued to hold the momentum as they captured the second set by a score of 25-7. In the decisive third set, the Buffaloes secured the match with a 25-14 set victory.

Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, Va.) recorded 19 assists and three service aces, while
Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.) had 11 digs and two service aces.
Erin Pittman (Norris, Tenn.) had 10 digs.
Kendra Fiddler (Colorado Springs, Colo.) had seven kills.
  With the win, Milligan improves to 8-11 overall and 6-3 in the AAC.
  The Buffaloes return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 4, when they travel to AAC newcomer Columbia College. Game time in Columbia, S.C., is set for 6:30 p.m.
