Milligan College, Tenn. (Oct. 28, 2011) --- The Milligan College volleyball team fell 3-1 on senior night to AAC foe Bryan College on Friday night inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.

  In the game's first set, neither team could pull ahead in the early going, but Bryan used a late run to propel them to a 25-21 set victory. Milligan fought back in the second set as they evened the match with a 25-18 set victory. In the third set, Milligan was unable to hold off a late rally as the Lady Lions captured the set 25-22. In the decisive fourth set, Bryan ran out early as they secured the match with a 25-12 victory.

Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.) recorded 21 digs and seven kills after being honored as the team's lone senior before the game.
Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, Va.) had 35 assists, while
Katelin Henson (Kingsport, Tenn.) had 16 digs.
Kendra Fiddler (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and
Kylie Whaley (Maryville, Tenn.) had 11 kills apiece. Freshman
Kaitlyn Qualls (Colorado Springs, Colo.) had 12 digs in the match.

  With the loss, Milligan drops to 9-17 overall and 7-7 in AAC action.

  The Buffaloes return to action on Saturday, Oct. 29, when they host Reinhardt University. Game time in Steve Lacy Fieldhouse is set for 11 a.m.
