Milligan College, Tenn. (Oct. 3, 2011) --- The Milligan College volleyball team will host their annual Dig for the Cure event on their Oct. 13, 2011, match against Mars Hill College inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.
ÂÂ
  According to Head Coach
Doneva Bays, Milligan is one of the many colleges and universities in the country that have dedicated a home match in support of the breast cancer foundation. The Buffaloes will wear pink t-shirts, pink ribbons and pink socks in honor of anyone who has fought the battle with breast cancer.
ÂÂ
Admission to this match is free, and the Buffaloes will also be selling t-shirts to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
ÂÂ
“We love that we get to host another Dig for the Cure match,” said Bays, who first initiated “Dig for the Cure” in 2008. “We feel so honored to help in any possible way. Our hope is that even with one match, we can raise awareness or money to help with the fight against breast cancer.”
In addition to the game, there will be several activities and opportunities provided to help raise awareness and money for the foundation.
