Berea, Ky. (Nov. 18, 2011) --- The Milligan College women's basketball team started the Berea College Pepsi Classic off with a 68-58 victory over Alice Lloyd College on Friday night in Berea, Ky.
  The Buffaloes took a 34-28 lead into half, and then held off a late Alice Lloyd charge to preserve the victory.

Alisha Mainer (Flag Pond, Tenn.) led the way with 16 points and five rebounds, while
Kayla Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) had 15 points.
Ashlee Price (Rogersville, Tenn.) had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Dorian Freeman (Augusta, Ga.) and
Megan Casteel (Greeneville, Tenn.) had seven and six points, respectively, and
Johneshia Good (Johnson City, Tenn.) tallied six assists in the win.

  With the win, Milligan improves to 2-3 overall.

  The Buffaloes will play host Berea College on the second day of the Berea Pepsi Classic on Saturday, Nov. 19. Game time is set for 8 p.m.ÂÂ
