Pippa Passes, Ky. (Nov. 22, 2011) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team saw a late rally fall short as they fell 69-67 to Alice Lloyd College on Tuesday night in Pippa Passes, Ky.

  The Buffaloes fell behind early as they trailed 38-25 at the half. Milligan outscored Alice Lloyd 42-31 in the second frame, but it was not enough to take the victory.

   Freshman
Jordan Cross (Bluff City, Tenn.) led the way with 18 points, while
Tyler DeVault (Kingsport, Tenn.) had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Mickey Woods (Port Arthur, Tex.) had seven points.

  As a team, Milligan was 27-of-54 (50%) from the field and 6-of-24 (25%) from behind the arc. ALC was 21-of-56 (37%) from the floor and 3-of-16 (18%) from the 3-point line.

  With the loss, Milligan falls to 2-3.

  The Buffaloes return to exhibition action on Saturday, Nov. 26, as they travel to Appalachian State University. Game time in Boone, N.C., is set for 2 p.m.
