Knoxville, Tenn. (Nov. 8, 2011) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team picked up a nonconference road victory on Tuesday night as they defeated Knoxville College 87-65 in Knoxville, Tenn.

  The first 10 minutes of the contest was an even game as the teams were tied at 13. However, Milligan went on a run heading into halftime to give the Buffaloes a 40-23 lead at the break. The second half saw Milligan keep the Bulldogs at bay to secure the victory.

Marshall Hardy (Kingsport, Tenn.) led the way with 16 points, while freshman
Jordan Cross (Bluff City, Tenn.) added 14 points off the bench.
Kyle Grisby (Charlotte, N.C.) and
Cordero Seymour (Inagua, Bahamas) had 13 and 10 points, respectively.

  With the win, Milligan improves to 2-2 on the season.

 The Buffaloes return to action on Friday, Nov. 11, as they travel to NCAA Division I foe East Carolina University for a exhibition contest. Game time in Greeneville, N.C., is set for 7 p.m.
