Atlanta, Ga. (Feb. 11, 2011) --- The Milligan College baseball team came up short in a nine inning contest on Friday afternoon as they fell 8-3 to Atlanta Christian College in Atlanta, Ga.

LA Owens (Dillon, S.C.) was handed the loss on the mound for the Buffaloes. Bart Roark (Mountain City, Tenn.) and Wesley Jones (Kingsport, Tenn.) were both 2-for-4 with one run scored apiece. Kyle Kolat (South Bend, Ind.) had two RBIs in the contest.

With the loss, Milligan falls to 1-7 on the season.

The Buffaloes return to action on Saturday, Feb. 12, for a doubleheader with Atlanta Christian College. The first pitch is slated for 1 p.m.
