Athens, Tenn. (Oct. 6, 2012) --- The Milligan College women's soccer team saw Teagan Wood (Kingsport, Tenn.) score in overtime to lift the Buffaloes past Tennessee Wesleyan College 1-0 in Appalachian Athletic Conference action on Saturday in Athens, Tenn.
 
   Neither team was able to capitalize on chances in the first half as the game remained scoreless at the break. In the second half, both teams continued to battle, but the game remained scoreless at the end of regulation. After a scoreless first overtime, Wood kicked the Buffaloes to victory in the 108^th minute with her fourth goal of the season.
 
   With the win, Milligan improves to 8-4-1 overall and 5-1-1 in conference action. It was the Buffaloes' fifth consecutive victory.
 
   Milligan returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 13, as they host AAC foe Columbia College. Match time at Anglin Field is slated for 3 p.m.
