West Point, Ga. (Sept. 22, 2012) --- The Milligan College women's soccer team picked up a 3-1 Appalachian Athletic Conference victory on Saturday over Point University in East Point, Ga.
 
   The Skyhawks scored the lone goal in the first half to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. However, the Buffaloes responded with a strong second half as Teagan Wood (Kingsport, Tenn.) tied the game at one goal piece.

   Ellery Alloiner (High Point, N.C.) gave the Buffaloes their first lead of the game, and then Wood struck again to cap the scoring for the game.
 
   With the win, Milligan improves to 4-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play.
 
   The Buffaloes return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 26, when they travel to NCAA Division II Mars Hill College. Match time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
