St. Andrews, N.C. (Sept. 20, 2013) --- The Milligan College volleyball team picked up their first Appalachian Athletic Conference road victory of the season as they dispatched St. Andrews University 3-1 on Friday night in Laurinburg, N.C.

  The Buffaloes pulled away late to take a 25-19 first set victory. After the Lady Knights won the second set 25-14, the Buffaloes battled back to take the third set by a score of 25-19. Milligan secured the win in the fourth set with a 25-22 game victory.

Kylie Whaley (Maryville, Tenn.) recorded 18 kills, while
Jessica Davenport (Cleveland, Tenn.) had 39 assists and 10 digs.
Kaitlyn Round (Billings, Mont.)and
Grace Ann Moorhouse (Morristown, Tenn.) recorded 15 digs apiece.
Samantha Bruinius (Chicago, Ill.) ended the match with nine kills.

  With the win, the Buffaloes improve to 2-2 in conference play and 6-10 overall.
