MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Jan. 22, 2014) â€" Ten Buffaloes made it into the scorebook Wednesday night at the Steve Lacy Fieldhouse as the Milligan College men's basketball team topped St. Andrews University 75-53.

Milligan won its fourth straight and improved to 12-7 (6-5 AAC). The St. Andrews Knights fell to 2-13 (1-10 AAC).

Milligan, thanks to early three-pointers by
Mickey Woods,
Mike Woods, Jr. and
Kurt Brooks, soared out to a 25-10 lead midway through the first half and never looked back. The Buffaloes shot 46.4% (13-28) from the floor in the first half and 46.0% (10-22) in the second half en route to their largest league victory since Nov. 21, when Milligan defeated the Knights 89-50 at their place.

Torian Sitton led all scorers on Wednesday with 16 points and six assists. Woods, Jr. scored 13 points and added five assists. Brooks, the only other Buffalo to reach double figures, finished with 12 points.

St. Andrews' Nathaniel Pittman scored 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Jibri Banner scored 10 points off the bench.

Milligan will be back at home on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 4 p.m. for a matchup with Tenn. Wesleyan College (12-8, 8-3 AAC). Tenn. Wesleyan ranks second in league play.
