CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 7, 2015) â€"
Makenzie Lilley's RBI single in the first inning of game one and
Kimberly Robinson's RBI double in the first inning of game two proved to be decisive in two easy victories for the Milligan College softball team as the Buffaloes defeated Tennessee Temple University 13-0 and 10-0 on Tuesday.

Lilley's single brought home
Jessica Connatser with nobody out, and Robinson's double brought home
Natalie Sheffey with one out as Milligan (13-13, 8-10 AAC) poured in runs in eight of the 12 innings on the day. In game one, Lilley's single scored the first run of a three-run top of the first, and the Buffs added one more in the second, three in the third and a six-spot in the fifth. Sheffey, Connatser, and
Amanda Dunaway all had two hits in the opener.

Robinson's double at the start of game two scored the only run for either team over the first four innings, but Milligan resumed its scoring outburst in the late innings to put the game out of reach.

Robinson added three innings inside the circle and combined with
Meghan Nicol,
Jessica Goodson and
Sierra Plese to limit Tennessee Temple to two hits over seven innings in game two.

Milligan will continue its current road trip south at league frontrunner Reinhardt University (22-14, 12-2 AAC) for the final conference test of the regular season. The Buffaloes will be back home on Friday for a rematch doubleheader against Temple at 1 p.m., pending weather.
