Sarah Robinson led the No. 24 Milligan College women's basketball team to an 85-66 Appalachian Athletic Conference win at St. Andrews University Saturday afternoon.

Robinson scored 23 points, her highest output of this season and third time this season scoring 20 or more, while adding 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Milligan improved to 4-2 (2-0 AAC) with its fourth straight win.

Milligan and St. Andrews took turns with the lead through the first quarter until the Buffs went on a 10-0 run to surge into the lead for good early in the second quarter.
Hayley Wyrick sparked the run with a bucket just outside the seven-minute mark to make it 27-27, then five possessions later the Buffs were up by eight at 35-27. They extended the lead to 13 by the halftime break before pouring it on in the second half, going out by as many as 24.

Robinson was one of four Buffs in double figures for scoring as
Mackenzie Raizor and
Kelly Barnett scored 13 while
Morgan Gose had 12. Wyrick scored nine to go with three rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal.
Lindsee Price was the orchestrator of much of the offense, finishing with a career high 13 assists.

Robinson, Barnett and Raizor each connected on three 3-pointers as Milligan shot 14-of-30 from behind the arc.

For St. Andrews, LeeAysia Williamson led the way with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Milligan returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 22, for an AAC matchup against Truett-McConnell University beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Buffs will also be in the area the weekend after Thanksgiving for the annual NAIA DII Showcase, scheduled for Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 26-27, in Kingsport.
