NEW YORK, N.Y. (Dec. 14, 2016) â€" Milligan College's men's basketball team traveled to New York City to take on Head Coach 
Bill Robinson's alma mater, The King's College. The Buffaloes played a complete game on both sides of the ball and won handily 79-27.
 
Milligan (6-8, 3-4 AAC) got everyone in on the scoring throughout the game. 14 different Buffaloes found their way onto the stat sheet and contributed to the team's one sided victory.
 
The Buffaloes controlled the game from the start. In the first half, they kept the Lions from reaching double figures until there was only four minutes left. At that point, Milligan led by 21 points. They closed the half on a 12-2 run and led 43-12 at the break.
 
Milligan never looked back and led by as many as 57 in the second half.
 
Scoring in double figures for the third game in a row, 
Will Buckner led all scorers with 12. After going scoreless against Union, 
Jacob Cawood bounced back with a double digit scoring performance of his own, scoring 10 for the Buffaloes. Freshman point guard 
Daxton Bostian played another solid game, racking up a season-high eight assists.
 
The Buffaloes return to action in an exhibition game on Friday against The College of William and Mary. That will be their last game of the year and resume AAC play on January 3, against Allen University.
