COCHRAN, Ga. (Feb. 27, 2016) â€" The Milligan College baseball team fell behind early and suffered a pair of losses, 17-1 and 18-1, to Middle Georgia College Saturday afternoon in the first two games of a nonconference series at Stuckey Field.
 
Milligan (5-9) was led on the day by Nelson Schneider who went 3-for-4 and Thomas Miller who went 2-for-4 with a double to left-center in the top of the second inning in game two. Jake Weaver and Hunter Suggs also had hits for the Buffs.
 
Milligan will finish up the three-game series at Middle Georgia on Sunday, Feb. 28, with a single game beginning at 1 p.m. The Buffs then return home next weekend, March 5-6, for the Appalachian Athletic Conference opener versus Montreat College.
