DAYTON, Tenn. (April 1, 2016) â€" The Milligan College baseball team came up on the short end of a 9-2 decision at No. 20 Bryan College Friday evening.
 
Shane Salley had one of the biggest hits of the game for the Buffs, smacking a solo home run to lead off the top of the second. It tied the game at 1-1, but it was nearly all Lions from there. Bryan broke the tie again in the bottom of the third, then added three runs in the fourth, two more in the fifth, and a run apiece in the sixth and eighth.
 
Milligan and Bryan will finish the three-game Appalachian Athletic Conference series with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 2, beginning at 1 p.m. The Buffs will be back home on Saturday-Sunday, April 9-10, for an AAC series with Union College.
