Marissa Langford led the Milligan College volleyball team on the road with 18 kills in an Appalachian Athletic Conference contest against Union College. The Buffaloes dropped their final regular season match in a 3-1 decision against the Bulldogs (25-19, 25-27, 25-21, 25-16).

Following Langford was fellow senior
Alora Ricker with nine kills and freshman
Julia Codispoti with eight kills. Junior
Alyssa Rupert led with 33 digs while Ricker earned 22 digs. Sophomore setter
Kellee Geren tallied 35 assists on the night.

Milligan came out strong in the first set winning the first two points and keeping the lead until 10 apiece and then continued the lead up until 18 apiece. Despite both Milligan and Union earning 12 kills apiece, the Bulldogs went on a 6-0 run taking the first set (25-19). However, the Buffs responded in game two after 13 apiece taking off from there never letting Union take the lead. Following 25 apiece, sophomore
Julie Dockery secured the Buffs' sole victory of the night with two kills (27-25).

Regardless of Union's 17 kills in comparison to Milligan's 11, the Buffs put up a fight in the third set all the way through to 21-21. Nevertheless, the Bulldogs went on a 4-0 run to take the third game (25-21). Furthermore, Union led the Buffs throughout the entire fourth set fastening their 3-1 defeat over Milligan.

With the regular season wrapping up, the opening round of the Appalachian Athletic Conference is set to begin on Thursday, Nov. 9.
