Daxton Bostian scored a career high 34 points to help the Milligan College men's basketball team get back on the winning track with a 93-90 victory at Allen University Saturday in an Appalachian Athletic Conference game.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak as Milligan defeated an Allen squad which is receiving votes in the latest NAIA national top 25 poll.

BOSTIAN'S NUMBERS
Bostian was 10-for-17 from the field and 6-for-10 from 3-point territory. He also connected on 8-of-10 free throws and chipped in two rebounds, an assist and a steal. Bostian's previous career high was 22 which he set last season, just four games into his freshman campaign. Two other times last season he recorded a 20-point effort, and his season high so far this year was 18 against Washington Adventist a week ago.

Bostian became the first Buff since Kurt Brooks on Jan. 13, 2016, to go over the 30-point mark. Brooks also scored 34 points in that game. Only 28 times has a member of the Milligan men's basketball team scored 34 points or higher in a single game dating back to at least the 1988-89 season.

Will Buckner in double figures for scoring. Levarity scored 14 while Buckner scored 11.
Bo Pless added nine points in the win.

Quincy Washington led the Yellow Jackets with 32 points on 10-of-19 shooting. Two others were in double figures, including Demetrius Richardson with 17 and Brandon Moore with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Milligan goes on the road for the next five games, starting with AAC foe Point University next Saturday, Dec. 9. After that, the Buffs have four road exhibition games against NCAA competition before returning home to Steve Lacy Fieldhouse on Tuesday, Jan. 2, for a matchup against Bryan College.
