Aaron Levarity led the Milligan College men's basketball team in their second straight Appalachian Athletic Conference road win against Point University on Saturday evening. The Buffs defeated the Skyhawks, 81-79.

THE SECOND HALF
Though the Buffs trailed by five at the half, and by as much as 15 points in the first half, Milligan refused to fall and came out ready to contend. Bostian's 17 points alongside seven 3-pointers enabled the Buffs to minimize the deficit and put themselves back in the game. Furthermore, the Skyhawks still led by as much as 13 points with 5:31 remaining. With a Bostian field goal, 3-pointer, and free throw, and another 3-pointer by senior
David Casaday Milligan trailed by just four points with 3:57 left.

THE FINAL THREE MINUTES
Point made two free throws while Bostian responded three seconds later with two for Milligan and then drained another 3-pointer putting the Buffs behind by one point. Levarity went on to rebound Bostian's missed shot and went back up with it putting Milligan in the lead for the first time in the game (1:25).

The Skyhawks tied the game (79-79) with five seconds remaining. Moreover, Casaday was fouled with 0.4 seconds left at the 3-point arch putting him at the free throw line. Casaday made two of his three free throws to secure the Buffs' victory over the Skyhawks, 81-79.

STATISTICAL LEADERS
Four Buffs reached double-digit points. Bostian added six assists and four steals to his 17 points while Levarity earned his seventh double-double with ten rebounds on top of his 16 points. Levarity also added two blocks. Following was Casaday with 12 points and Mike Featherston with ten points and six rebounds. Desean Green followed Bostian with five assists.

Levarity is ranked first in NAIA DII in offensive rebounds per game with 4.75.

Point also had four reach double-digits in the scoring column. Tyonn Stuckey led with 21 points and eight rebounds and added four assists. ÂÂ

The Buffs will be on the road for four straight exhibition games. Milligan will face UNC Asheville on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 3:30 p.m., the College of William & Mary on Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m., Troy University on Thursday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m., and the University of Virginia's College at Wise on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 7:30 p.m. Milligan will return home on Tuesday, Jan 2. against AAC foe Bryan College at 7:30 p.m.
