Isabella Cranford scored the second goal of her young career, but the Milligan College women's soccer team fell in a 4-1 decision at Point University Saturday afternoon on the road.

The match marked the third game of the season for Milligan not to be decided by a single goal or draw, but the first of which the Buffaloes came up short. It dropped Milligan to 3-5-1 (2-3 AAC) while Point improved to 4-3-1 (2-0-1 AAC).

BUFFS FALL BEHIND EARLY IN CONFERENCE LOSS
Both teams were coming off recent matches against Montreat (Milligan a 2-0 winner, Point drawing 1-1 in 2OT) but previous decisions were no indicator of Saturday's result. Point jumped out on top of Milligan 2-0 through the first 20 minutes, then after Cranford cut the score in half in the 40th minute, the Skyhawks padded the lead with two more goals in the second half en route to the victory.
