Buffs Men's Cross Country Selected Sixth in Latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Rating

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The third NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Rating of the 2025 regular season was announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) on Thursday afternoon. The poll unearthed that the Milligan University Buffaloes were selected as the No. 6-ranked squad in the land.

Milligan came away in third place as a squad at the Fire Tower Project at Appalachian State University on Oct. 3 to earn a grand total of 466 points in the poll, just 12 points outside the overall top five. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place, 28 for third place and so on through the list. The highest and lowest ratings for each team are removed. The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and unaffiliated groupings.
