WALESKA, Ga. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) unleashed the news that Ellen-Mary Kearney of Milligan University was named the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the third time this season on Monday afternoon.

Kearney ran an impeccable race, winning the 5k event in 16:58.3 at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge on Friday morning in Knoxville. It was a meet-record, school-record and personal-best mark that she achieved in the event, further cementing her status as one of the best Milligan women's runners ever.
