INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Milligan University cycling squad earned two individual national championships and a team title over the weekend in Indianapolis at the 2025 USA Cycling Collegiate Track Championships.
The Buffaloes' men's team pursuit squad, consisting of Brody McDonald, Dillon Geary, Riley Wrightsman and Ronald Shindell, combined to take home the one team title that MU achieved over the weekend, outdueling Marian University by just under a second.

Milligan's women's team pursuit ended up third, as Javiera Garrido, Samantha Clark, Megan Lester and Kaya Schroeder reached the bronze-medal spot on the podium.

In the men's individual pursuit the following day, Wrightsman earned a national title, with McDonald and Geary placing fourth and fifth, respectively. Also finishing in the top 15 was Shindell (15^th).

The women's time trial saw Garrido finish as the runner-up and Clark place seventh.

Milligan had the top two finishers in the men's points race, as McDonald earned a national title and Geary came through as the runner-up. Wrightsman placed sixth and Carsten Baker ended up 15^th.

Garrido finished second in the women's points race, and Clark managed a fifth-place finish. Louisa Kelly concluded the race in 14^th.

Day three's men's time trial resulted in a third-place finish from Geary, with Wrightsman and McDonald in 11^th and 14^th, respectively.

The women's individual pursuit included Garrido placing fourth, Lester in ninth and Clark in 11^th.

The scratch races were on day four, with McDonald placing fourth and Wrightsman in 10^th. Garrido (2^nd), Clark (8^th) and Lester (13^th) finished in the top 15 of the women's scratch race.

The co-ed sprint, run by Garrido, McDonald, Geary, Wrightsman and Baker, ended up in a third-place finish as a squad.

In the Omnium standings, the men had three in the top five, with McDonald (2^nd), Geary (3^rd) and Wrightsman (5^th) receiving the honors. Baker placed 14^th overall, as well. Garrido was the women's Omnium runner-up and Clark came in ninth, while Lester ended up 15^th.
