Clark Chosen for AAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, Nabs Sixth Total Honor

WALESKA, Ga. –  For the sixth time this season, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) selected Milligan University's Semaj Clark as a Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday. Clark earned the defensive award for the third time this year and now has evenly split her offensive and defensive honors for the campaign.

Milligan's record is now at 12-0 in AAC play after another unbeaten week across two contests. They beat the Bears of Truett McConnell by a score of 87-50, before holding on to down Columbia 72-64. Clark tallied a trio of steals and sent back three shots in those wins, while collecting 16 defensive rebounds, and earning a double-double in the triumph over the Koalas with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Overall, Clark has won a weekly award from the conference six times this season, including three weeks in a row. She has now taken home the defensive award in back-to-back weeks.
