Four Milligan Women's Basketball Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District

MILLIGAN, Tenn. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) revealed their list of Women's Basketball Academic All-District honorees on Tuesday afternoon, as the Buffs boasted the maximum number of honorees, with Semaj Clark, McKenna Myers, Kenzie Campbell and Makenzie Bremer earning the recognition. Clark will move on and be considered for the CSC Academic All-America Teams, as well

Bremer posted a 4.0 GPA in Exercise Science and was an integral part of the Lady Buffs team that won both the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) regular season and conference tournament. Throughout the season, she shot the ball at a 45% clip, which was the third-best mark on the team. Bremer also logged heavy minutes for Milligan this year, playing 19.3 minutes per game and totaling 579 minutes played.

Clark maintained a 3.51 GPA in the Nursing program at Milligan while taking on a larger role in her senior year. She blossomed into an all-around superstar for the Lady Buffs this year, leading the team in points (517), rebounds (271), assists (124), steals (58) and blocks (18) on her way to being named the AAC Player of the Year. She recorded 11 double-doubles en route to nearly averaging a double-double at 17.2 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game. This is Clark's second CSC Academic All-District Team honor.

Myers' 3.88 GPA in the Biology major helped earn her spot on the All-District list, as she had an unbelievable year, earning first-team AAC recognition. She was the second-leading scorer on the squad, putting up 11.3 points per contest while shooting an efficient 42%. She also influenced the game on the boards, hauling in 3.2 rebounds per game.

Campbell posted a 3.98 GPA in the Exercise Science major at Milligan while serving as a sparkplug for the Lady Buffs. She provided a three-point prowess paired with strong defense that provided Milligan with energy during the campaign. She knocked down a team-high 39 shots from beyond the arc while shooting 31.5% from three. She was often tasked with guarding the other team's top scoring option, showing her versatility. Campbell was recognized as second-team All-Conference by the AAC at the conclusion of the season.
