ATHENS, Tenn. — Milligan University's Joanna Halterman earned her second AAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors of 2026 after her performance at this week's Royals Cross Country Challenge in Charlotte, N.C.

Halterman scored yet another personal-best clip, tallying a 17:48.3 in the 5k race. She placed 16th as an individual in the event, while helping her team to a fifth-place showing as a group.
