MONTGOMERY, Ala. - On Saturday, Milligan University's competitive cheer squad completed the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Championships in Montgomery, Ala.
Milligan posted their best score across the three competitions this season with a cumulative 73.42 to place ninth overall. A prelims score of 75.47 was followed by a finals score of 72.73 which averaged out to the eventual cumulative mark.
The tournament was a success for the cheer program, as the squad improved on their score each time throughout the three events. The squad was made up of

Briley Davis,
Camila Estrada,
Ramsey Greenwell,
Madison Laughters,
Brylee Pennington,
Avery Pope and
Anna Stone.
The Milligan competitive cheer program will now look ahead to the 2026-27 campaign with their sights set on continuing to improve their standing within the SSAC.
