WALESKA, Ga. — On Monday afternoon, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) unveiled its All-AAC Teams in softball for the 2026 regular season during the AAC tournament. Milligan University's
Alana Parsons was recognized as a Second Team All-Conference member at third base. The Buffs also had eight Academic All-AAC selections and a Champion of Character honoree as part of the awards announcement.
Parsons, who is coming off a Second Team All-Conference selection in 2025, earned an AAC Player of the Week nod in the 2026 campaign after she went on a tear during the stretch of Feb. 28 through March 8, recording a hit in 12 straight at-bats, including a perfect six-for-six series against Pikeville. In that same span, she drove in eight runs, highlighted by a five-RBI game on March 7 in a win over Johnson. Overall, Parsons leads the Milligan herd offensively batting for a .430 average, a team-high 52 hits and a .485 on-base percentage. She has also produced runs for the squad, belting seven home runs while driving in 47 runs and crossing the plate 28 times herself.
