KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Milligan University had 62 student-athletes from 2026 spring sports teams collect NAIA Scholar-Athlete status, with the honorees being recognized on on Wednesday by the NAIA.

To be honored as a Scholar-Athlete, the student-athletes must achieve at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and have attended one full year at their current institution.

Milligan's women's track & field had 17 honorees to lead the way and men's track & field was next with 15. Baseball and softball both managed eight. Women's tennis had five of them, while men's tennis and women's golf had four. Men's golf rounded things out with one honoree.
