ATHENS, Tenn. (April 10, 2018) â€" The Milligan College softball team's eight-game winning streak was snapped on the road at Tennessee Wesleyan after an Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. GAME ONE | BULLDOGS' LATE RUNS

In the bottom of the fifth, the Bulldogs earned four hits allowing them to score four more runs putting them at a five-run advantage going into the sixth inning (5-0). ÂÂ
Nevertheless, both teams went scoreless the rest of the way despite the Buffs' effort in the seventh with a batter on first and third after a Kirstan Beaver hit. Beaver led the Buffs with a 2-for-3 effort while Savannah Nocera connected for a hit herself.ÂÂ
