JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. – On Sunday, the Milligan University men's bowing team continued their weekend of competition at the MSC Thomas Burris Memorial after winning the Lynne Jordan Memorial on Saturday. It was another good performance from the Buffaloes in the latter of two tourneys, as they ended up with a sixth-place finish out of 14 teams in attendance.
The same format as Saturday was followed, with four team games and eight baker games making up the event.
Sean Jenkins has been, and continues to be, a masterful force for the Buffs. This time around, he bowled to a seventh-place finish with 888 pins, besting his performance from Saturday's Lynne Jordan Memorial. He began the tourney with team games of 240 and 239 pins, respectively. That start helped him reach a 222-pin average for the event.

Cameron Shockey bowled to a 857-pin total. He bowled the best individual game of the tournament for Milligan, as he laid down a 256 to start the event. Overall, he sported a 214.25-pin average on Sunday.
Chance McLane came in 37
th, toppling 811 pins. His high score was 212 pins in his third team game, as he averaged 202.75 per contest.

th) also concluding the tourney in the top 100.
Milligan grabbed 4,104 pins in their four team games, knocking down 1,130 in their first. They totaled 1,562 in their eight baker games, with 226 of those coming in their highest-scoring game, which was the seventh.
"We saw strong chemistry, our first 300 of the season, and a day-one first-place finish," said men's coach
Michael Hall. "This team is building momentum, and this is a step in the right direction with more work to be done."
Next weekend, the team heads to Savannah, Ga. for the NAIA Southeast Open #1 and #2 events at Bowlero Savannah on Feb. 7-8. The bowling is set to begin at 9 a.m. each morning.
