KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Milligan University had 41 student-athletes from 2025-26 winter sports teams collect Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete status, with the honorees being recognized on Wednesday morning by the NAIA.
To be honored as a Scholar-Athlete, the student-athletes must achieve at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and have attended one full year at their current institution.
Milligan's men's swimming and women's basketball programs led all MU winter sports teams with 10 honorees. Women's swimming was next with seven, while men's bowling totaled six, men's basketball and women's bowling had three apiece, and competitive cheer had a pair of honorees.
