MILLIGAN, Tenn. – On Monday, head golf coach Tony Wallingford revealed the fall portion of Milligan University men's and women's golf's schedules. Each squad competes in four tournaments before the annual AAC Fall Previews.

Wallingford begins his 35th season at the helm of Milligan men's golf and his 16th for the women. The women's squad kicks things off for MU when they head to the Jekyll Island Invitational, hosted by the College of Coastal Georgia at Jekyll Island Golf Club's Dunes Course on Sept. 6-7. Both teams then take a trip north to Prestonsburg, Ky., where they'll take part in the Southeast Kentucky Orange & Black Collegiate, hosted by the University of Pikeville at Stonecrest Golf Club on Sept. 14-15. The annual home fall tournament for the Buffaloes, the East Tennessee Collegiate, will be the final tourney played in September on the 28th and 29th at Johnson City Country Club. 

October commences with the Buffs' men playing in the Music City Collegiate, hosted By Cumberland University in Dickson, Tenn. at the Greystone Golf Club on Oct. 5-6. The following week, Milligan two teams split up to different locations. The women will be at the Battle at Gibson Bay Invitational, hosted by Lindsey Wilson College in Richmond, Ky. at the Gibson Bay Golf Club. Meanwhile, the men will play in the Bob Dibble Memorial, hosted by Tusculum University in Chuckey at the Graysburg Hills Golf Club. Those two-day events are on Oct. 12-13. 

The women's AAC Fall Preview comes first in 2026, as the ladies are set to take the trek south to Blairsville, Ga., where they'll play the links at Old Union Golf Club on Oct. 19-20 to close out their fall. On Oct. 26-27, the Milligan men go back to the familiar Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Ga. for their AAC Fall Preview. 

"We're excited to begin the fall portion of our schedule," said Wallingford. "Both teams have high expectations and will be tested in top tournaments against quality opponents. Our men's team returns every player from last year's squad and added three excellent newcomers. Our women's team, coming off their 6th consecutive trip to NAIA Nationals, returns four starters along with three incoming freshmen."
