MILLIGAN, Tenn. – On Wednesday, the Milligan University men's and women's golf programs have revealed the first-time members of their programs for the 2026-27 campaign.
Each squad is bringing on three new players—all freshmen—to assist in their pursuit of Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) titles this season.
"We have six quality frosh (3 men, 3 women) entering the program this fall," head coach
Tony Wallingford said. "I am excited about their potential and look forward to having them as a part of our Milli Golf fam. While patience is a key component for freshmen, I am confident that they will make a positive contribution early in their careers."

2026 Recruiting Class
Women
Addie Goolsby – Fr. – 5'4 – Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Rockvale HS
Goolsby joins the Milligan women's golf program from Murfreesboro, Tenn., where she competed for the Rockets at Rockvale High School under head coach Kevin Jones and earned Honor Roll recognition in the classroom. She will major in Nursing at Milligan and is the daughter of Micheal and Brittany Goolsby. She has two siblings, Elena and Chloe.
Jackson brings a well-rounded athletic and academic resume to Milligan's women's golf program from Shreveport, La., where she attended Loyola College Prep under head coach Ashley Jackson. She earned All-State and All-Academic honors on the course, served as team captain in both golf and swimming, and was recognized with the Living the Mission Award. In the classroom, she earned a 4.0 GPA, was a member of the National Honor Society, participated in dual enrollment and AP courses, was selected for Louisiana Girls State, and served as a FAiTH officer and member of the Yearbook Editorial Staff. She will major in Exercise Science at Milligan and is the daughter of Robert and Ashley Jackson. She has one sibling, Abigail, and comes from an athletic family, as both her sister and grandfather competed at the collegiate level.
Pernilla Sühl – Fr. – 5'4 – Norrkoping, Sweden – Aspero Idrottsgymnasium
Sühl comes to Milligan's women's golf program from Norrkoping, Sweden, where she attended Aspero Idrottsgymnasium. She will pursue a degree in Business Administration at Milligan and is the daughter of Kenneth Sühl and Catarina Waern. She has one sibling, Micaela Sühl.
Men
Will Carrier – Fr. – 5'11, 131 lbs – Bluff City, Tenn. – Sullivan East HS
Carrier joins the Milligan Men's Golf program from Sullivan East High School, where he played under head coach Luke Jones. A Bluff City, Tenn. native, Carrier was a two-time All-Conference selection, three-time Region Qualifier, and one-time State Qualifier while maintaining a 76.05 18-hole scoring average for the Patriots. Off the course, he graduated third in his class with a 4.5 GPA, served as class president, and was a member of the BETA Club, Student Council, and National Honor Society. He plans to major in Nursing at Milligan and is the son of Jimmy and Nicole Carrier.
Carson Murphy – Fr. – 5'8" – 170 lbs. – Swannanoa, N.C. – Buncombe County Virtual Academy
Murphy joins the Milligan golf program as a freshman for the 2026 season. Prior to Milligan, Murphy had a standout prep career at Buncombe County Virtual Academy black bear, where he earned All-State honors and finished third at the 2025 state championships under coaches John Knight and Tim Johnson. Academically, he graduated with a 3.4 GPA while completing pre-college coursework. The son of Desi and Regina Murphy, Carson has one sister, Maggie, and plans to major in Sports Management.
Rodriguez joins the Milligan men's golf team in 2026 from Oviedo, Spain where he attended I.E.S. La Ería. He will join the engineering program at Milligan. He is the son of Miguel and Marta and has one sibling, Claudia.
