Milligan Ready to Race at NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

MARION, Ind. — The Milligan University men's and women's outdoor track & field programs will compete at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University, beginning on Wednesday afternoon.

The Buffaloes' day begins with the women's 1500m Prelims, in which Ellen-Mary Kearney enters with the second-fastest time across the event's field of 21 competitors. She will run in Heat No. 2, as her event is slated to get under way at 3:50 p.m.

Immediately following the women's 1500m, the men's 1500m Prelims will take place. Bryn Woodall also maintains the second-fastest time of the 20-man event roster and will run in Heat No. 2 at approximately 4:10 p.m.

Following a break for Milligan, the men's 4x800m Relay squad will be running at approximately 6:50 p.m. in their Preliminaries. They enter with the fifth-fastest time of the 31 involved programs. Any combination of Sylas Chambers, Luis Peralta, Carter Windham, Woodall, Aaron Gottlied and Aaron Vaughn will take to the track.

In the Buffs' final event of the night, Winston Telford will compete in the men's 10000m Final. He holds the No. 18 time in the field of 25 individuals and will look forward to his 9:10 p.m. scheduled race start time.
