Milligan Men's XCTF Program Finishes Third in NAIA Program of the Year Standings, Women Place 10th

NEW ORLEANS, La. — Milligan University's men's and women's cross country/track & field programs were both honored with top-10 placements in the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Program of the Year rankings at the NAIA level, which were revealed on Tuesday afternoon.

"I am really proud of both programs for finishing in the top 10 this year," stated head coach Chris Layne. "This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes and coaching staff. While we continue to find creative ways to maximize our resources to keep this going, it is also important to recognize the overall support we receive from our institution."

Milligan's men's programs had a third-place finish, nabbing second, fifth and 13th-place finishes at the 2024-25 National Championships (cross country, indoor and outdoor), respectively.

The Buffaloes' women placed 10th as a squad, finishing fourth, 23rd and 31st, respectively, at national events.
